The Principles
for Unlimited Harvest

Text: Galatians 6: 6-10 “Let him that is taught in
the Word……..Be not deceived God is not mocked...
Introduction: The key word
“Principle, unlimited & harvest.
Principles: A fundamental
truth, a guide that must be followed.
Unlimited: Described as
limitless not limited. Inexhaustible, continuously without limit.
Harvest:
The gathering of things planted. A natural time of reaping in joy what has been
produced during the year of agricultural community. But scriptural, it means
God’s provision for us and God’s blessing for others. In other word, the topic
means, there are fundamental truth that must be observed for us to enjoy our
limitless and continuously divine provision and blessing if we indeed want God
to bless us.
Everything
about God our creator lies in His principles, whoever that will live by His
principles will see things working out positively for him/her, but when you
deviate, it will be tagged as disobedience and no blessings for you.
Brethren
in the principle of Harvest, like a farmer, you must follow the rules and
guidelines of sowing before you are expect to reap. Every crop has it own principle
of sowing it and the duration of incubation before it will ripe for harvesting.
When you fail to observe the principal rules, that crop will not survive farming season, thereby it becomes a huge lose to the farmer. So it is with our
work with God, when you don’t follow it according to the principle desired, there will be no result attached to it.
Now
the question that needs an immediate answer from us is A: What have you been sowing? B: How have you been sowing it? C: Are you happy with what you have been reaping?
If we can be able to give a correct answer to the question, definitely, we are in
for our unlimited harvest. May God help us in Jesus name Amen.
So let us look at some of the principles that make up the “law of Unlimited Harvest”
1.
YOUR
SEED DETERMINE YOUR HARVEST
Galatians
6: 6 (NIV): Anyone who receives instruction in the Word must share all good
things with his instructor” As a farmer, when you receive an instruction on what
to do to have a good harvest, you obey it to the fullest, one of it is that
when you sow a good seed, during harvest, you are expected to have a good
harvest. When you sow a bad seed, you cannot expect a good harvest. Now believers
do you obey the instruction concerning seed sowing, if indeed you obey, what kind
of seed are you sowing in the church of God. Is it the seed of
absenteeism? Seed of discouragement to
others, you cannot do and you discourage those who have it in mind to do. Seed
of non-chalant-attitude to duty, seed of envy and jealousy causing disunity
among the house hold of faith, seed of immorality as it was recorded also in
Galatians 5: 19-2... This kind of seed doesn’t produce good harvest; and as
well as seed of flimsy excuses to the things of God, unless we change we will
never have good harvest.
What
effort have you been making to see the progress of the church and the department
you belong by giving good idea, not discouraging other person's idea. Apostle Paul has this to say in 1Corinthians
11: 9-6 “He that soweth bountifully shall reap bountifully” sowing bountifully
and sparingly depends on the heart of the sower. You may not have enough money
to sow because of your financial status but you have time that can be sown as a seed. You
can deny yourself some comfort to make sure the Word of God is in progress that
also is a seed. Always remember that every seed we are sowing in the house of God
attract a reword if not now, thereafter.
Therefore if there are Evangelical team, prayer team, choir, usher and the rest of other departments, what kind of seed are you sowing by participating actively and coming in time during your practical service. And those of you who are not in any department, how do you expect to receive your own harvest. This brings us to the second principles.
2.
YOU
WILL REAP ONLY WHAT YOU SOW
Galatians
6: 7-8: You cannot plant cassava and expect to reap yam. Nor plant maize and
expect to reap rice. So it is in the spiritual realm too. Life is a series of
choices, it is either you sow into the flesh, sowing into the flesh can mean this way: when
you indulge in gossip, malice, scandalizing one another, when we give in to
anger, bitterness, quarrel and unforgiveness, when we lose our temper, when we
shy away from our Christian duties, when we involve in pornography and immoral
life.
But
sowing to the spirit means living in the spirit which guarantees us living under
the control of the Holy Ghost, by that we constantly practice love, joy, peace,
self control, patience and long suffering, under such atmosphere our will, will be summited in totality to the will of God, we don’t lean on our understanding again
but we acknowledge Him as the Lord of our life: proverbs 3: 1-7.. By so doing
the fruit of the spirit dominate our thought, words and deeds.
You can’t sow to the flesh and not complain, because what you order from a supplier is what will be supplied to you, so also, what you sow is what you will reap. Make sure you are sowing the right seed in the right direction and on a good soil if you indeed want to reap a harvest of God’s blessings. And this ushers us to the next principle
3.
REAPING
GODLY HARVEST REQUIRES PATIENCE AND PERSISTENCE GALATIANS 6 VS 9
Anyone
who has ever farm for a living knows exactly what this means; Therefore let us
keep on sowing even if through tears and with a weary heart when we faint not
but patiently wait upon God in the end we will rejoice when the harvest finally
comes according Psalm 126 vs 5-6 “They that sow in tears shall reap in joy”
As
farmers wait patiently for their crops to germinate, ripe and due for harvest, so
we are expected to wait patiently. When you are sowing in the house of God for
our harvest, the seed we are sowing in the house of God is the good work we
are doing for the growth of the church and propagation of the Gospel of our
Lord Jesus Christ.
That
the farm produce wasn’t good the previous years, doesn’t stop the farmer from
planting in the nest farm season so we are expected to persist in sowing in the
house of God, our finance, character, idea, time and our good work, knowing
fully well that “He that giveth seed to the sower” 2 Corinthians 9 vs 10 will make
us harvest bountifully in Jesus Name…
Next
principles are
4.
WE
MUST SEIZE THE OPPORTUNITY AROUND US BEFORE IT DISAPPEARS: GALATIANS 6 VS
10
A
good farmer utilizes every single opportunity that comes his way for a good
result. We all have opportunities to do good, if we will take them when they
come every day there are moments when we can say a word of encouragement to that
person, there are times when we can get involved in solving someone's problem if we
will only take the time. There are so many opportunities to use your seed to
serve God. It may involve doing one good thing or the other in the church.
Another opportunities have come again for someone to be remembered in this church
utilize the perfect opportunity of the upcoming thanksgiving and land
project to connect to the Lord of Harvest. Brethren a time of harvest
is a time to look inward and see what you can do to attract Divine visitation
in our life, marriage, business, carriers; in the book of Ruth, at the time of
harvest was when Boaz located Ruth Ruth chapter 3 and chapter 4, from there
comes in Obed who begat Jesse the father of David Now is your own turn, don’t
allow the opportunities do pass you by in conclusion.
No
church ever died by giving too much in the work of God but many churches have
died by giving too little, Again it is impossible to be over generous in the
work of the Lord. We ought to be giving: why: Because when you give to God, you are sowing to the spirit and you will reap unlimited harvest Ecclesiastic 11 vs 6

sowing in kind and in cash to the right soil which is the house of God. May God bless His Word in our hearts in
